Elgin Watches
Founded in 1864 in Elgin, Illinois, the Elgin Watch Company—also known as the Elgin National Watch Company—became the largest American watchmaker of its time. Over the course of a century, the company produced more than 60 million watches, from railroad-grade pocket watches to everyday timekeepers, making Elgin a cornerstone of American horology.
