Gruen: Founded in Ohio, Gruen was one of the largest American watch manufacturers for much of the 20th century. After the war, an influx of Swiss imports severely impacted the brand, ultimately leading to its closure in 1977. Today, Gruen is remembered through its elegant and innovative vintage watches.
